Açu Petróleo

We are a partnership between Prumo and Oiltanking dedicated to providing safe, efficient and sustainable oil movement infrastructure and services. Since 2016 we have operated the oil terminal (T-OIL) of the Port of Açu. We have the only private infrastructure in Brazil capable of receiving Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) class ships – with a cargo capacity of up to 2 million barrels. We are strategically located in the Northern region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, next to the Campos Basin, and our expansion plan includes offering oil storage, treatment and blending services. Our license allows the movement of 1.2 million barrels per day and the depth of the terminal is 25 meters.
